SMART WAYS ON HOW TO ADVERTISE MY WEBSITE

Now that you’ve created your website, the next thing you need is traffic. You won’t want to let all that hard work go to waste so I will be sharing my secrets on how to advertise my website.

Write informative articles. Writing article is one easy way to advertise your site. This takes time but in the long run your effort pays off. Eventually search engines will rate your articles higher and higher. That draws people to visit your site more often. Just be diligent and write one article a day.

Create interesting videos. People may be too lazy to read articles but an eye catching video is something they are willing to see. Just create a video of what your website is about. Keep it short and amusing and you will get yourself a captive audience. Provide a link to your website. Sites like You tube, Veoh, Metacafe and Daily Motion are highly recommended.

Be active in Communities. There are communities and forums where people gather sharing a common interest. Interact with these people and share with them your ideas. Let them know what your website is about. Once you’ve earned their trust they will have an interest in your website.

Resend Emails. The one thing that emails can do that other methods can’t is to get the same people to read what you’ve sent. It’s every easy to resend email to the same people just to remind them that your website still exists. If you have updates or a special promotion, email them. You’ll be surprised at the responses you will receive.

Going viral. Write a compilation of articles and make an eBook out of it. The eBook should just have around 10 pages. It should provide people with vital information that should interest them. Send to a lot of people with a link to your website. Allow them to spread the eBook to other people and pretty soon it will spread like virus!
